Before you travel
Things to gather at home. Photographs of documents are fine — they do not need to be originals.

- نتيجة الخزعة أو التحليل النسيجي إن أُخذتIf you have it
في عقيدات الغدة الدرقية وكتل الثدي، الخزعة تقرّر بين المتابعة أو الاستئصال الجزئي أو الكامل.
- تقارير أي عملية أو علاج سابقIf you have it
ما جرى سابقاً يحدّد ما يمكن عمله الآن. صور التقارير كافية.
- قائمة بكل الأدوية التي تتناولها
مميعات الدم وأدوية السكري وبعض المكمّلات تغيّر طريقة التخطيط للعملية، وبعضها يجب إيقافه قبلها.
After you arrive in Türkiye
The hospital does these. They are included in your package and usually take one morning.
- فحص الجرّاح بنفسه
الصور تُظهر الآفة، والفحص يُظهر المريض. وكلاهما معاً يحدّد الخطة النهائية.
- تحاليل الدم
صورة دم كاملة وتخثّر وسكر الدم وفحص التهاب الكبد B و C وفيروس نقص المناعة. فحوصات معيارية قبل أي عملية، وتُجرى عادة صباح وصولك.
- تخطيط القلب (ECG)
روتيني لمن تجاوز الأربعين أو لديه تاريخ قلبي، ولا يستغرق وقتاً.
- تقييم التخدير
يلتقيك طبيب التخدير قبل العملية للاطمئنان على القلب والصدر والأدوية، وللاتفاق على الخطة مع الجرّاح.

- متى اكتُشفت المشكلة، وكيف — بأعراض أم بفحص روتيني؟
- هل كبرت أو تغيّرت منذ ذلك الحين؟
- للغدة الدرقية: هل من تغيّر في الصوت أو صعوبة بلع أو اضطراب هرمونات؟
- هل في العائلة إصابات بالحالة نفسها؟
- ما الأدوية التي تتناولها — وخصوصاً مميعات الدم؟
You do not have to do this alone
Every patient is different. Once the doctor has read your file they may ask for one or two more things before confirming your plan — that is normal, and it is a sign your case is being looked at properly rather than waved through. If it happens, we tell you exactly what is needed and why, and you will see it added to this list.
If you cannot get a test at home, tell us. Most of them can be done in Türkiye instead, and we will arrange it.
